About Our Practice

The financial professionals of Markland Wealth Management, Inc. are focused on personal financial planning. We are able to offer a wide selection of investment products and services that can be used to create and manage a complete financial plan. We take our clients through a financial planning process that includes developing goals and objectives, gathering all relevant data, recommending a financial plan, putting the plan to work, and active monitoring of the plan. We specialize in providing a complete plan that will take into consideration investments, tax strategies, estate planning, and insurance products and services to help our clients pursue their financial planning goals.

Our goal is to guide, educate, and support our clients in developing and managing a life-long financial plan that is right for them today and will help them pursue their financial goals in the future.

Additional Information

  • To maintain our licenses and designations, we are required to earn 30 continuing education credits every two years.
  • We can furnish prospective clients with references upon request.
  • We will provide a no cost or obligation consultation to prospective clients so that we may determine if their needs and our practice are well matched.

PAYMENT & COMPENSATION

  • Payment to Markland Wealth Management, Inc. advisors may be in the form of:
  • Fee for financial planning (initial, hourly and/or retainer)
  • Fee based on percentage of assets managed (ranging from 0-2%)
  • Commissions and/or loads for investment products purchased
  • Trail fees on mutual funds or insurance products
  • Redemption fees on mutual funds or insurance products
  • Commission on insurance products purchased

Compensation Methods and Disclosure:

  • We can work with clients on a fee only basis
  • We can inform clients of the dollar amount of fees (commissions or loads) to be paid on the purchase of any product
  • Our clients' interests come first. We will recommend products based on what is best for them and not based on which would give us more earnings. Our objective is to develop life-long clients.
  • When appropriate, we may refer clients to other professionals for related services out of our area of expertise. We do not receive referral fees from these professionals.
  • Our firm does not, nor does any affiliate or member of our firm, act as a general partner, participate in or receive compensations as a general partner from investments that we recommend.
